At present, although the manufacturing process of UVC LED chip is less difficult than IC, it is more difficult than visible LED. It can be said that the shorter the wavelength, the higher the technical requirements. The whole structure of UVC adopts AlGaN materials which are difficult to grow and have low luminous efficiency, but there can be no gallium nitride and indium gallium nitride materials. Because these two materials will absorb ultraviolet light, the luminous efficiency of UVC LED will be much lower.
